Job Description

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for preparing accounting transactions and preparing accounting reports on sales, financial statements, and other reports pertaining to the operations of the company. 
 

Qualifications/Requirements

 - The ideal candidate should hold a degree in BS Accountancy, Finance or relevant field (being a CPA is a plus)
 -  With at least 1 to 3 years of extensive experience in an accounting or finance position, with a solid grasp of general accounting principle
 - Knowledge of Bookkeeping, BIR taxation and revenue regulations is essential
 - Previous involvement in the food service industry is advantageous but not mandatory
 - Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, high accuracy, and effective task prioritization are required
 - Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word and Excel
 - Willingness to work in Makati City and travel to branches for audit purposes
 - Immediate availability to start the position

     JOSEPH LAO
    Executive Chef | Chairman 
Chef Paco is the driving force of all the kitchens of Gruppo Kusinero Inc.’s different food service brands. He develops and designs exciting menus and leads all the kitchen brigades of each brand. Armed with his trainings in different restaurants locally and abroad, together with his degree in Culinary Arts from Ducasse Institute + Enderun Colleges, his specialization is of the diverse influences of French, Japanese, Chinese and Filipino. 
 
    ALEXANDRA ANN LAO
    Pastry Chef and Managing Director | President
Chef Alexa acts as both the head of Gruppo Kusinero Inc.’s pastry & bakery and the head of operations. She is in charge of creating recipes for all the baked products of all the brands, and at the same time oversees all the aspects of the entire operations. She graduated as a scholar and consistently one of the top students in Ducasse Institue + Enderun Colleges. While studying in college, she worked for Wine Warehouse Inc. as a sales associate and at age 19, she worked as F&B Management Trainee at the Hyatt Regency Guam, USA. She continued her training as a chef in a Michelin-star restaurant in Arles, France until 2012.
 
     JEWELLE LAO
Business &Legal Director | Vice-President 
Jewelle handles the business side of the company. She earned her economics and marketing degrees from De La Salle University before she took up law from Ateneo de Manila University. She is a licensed real estate broker since 2002 and has worked for more than 4 years as a corporate and tax lawyer under the international tax group of SGV & Co. (Ernst & Young Limited). She completed her Ll.M. (Master of Laws) in International Tax Laws in Vienna University of Economics and Business, shortly before setting up Gruppo Kusinero Inc.
