The Manila Times is looking for a reporter that is responsible for researching, and writing news stories, interviews, and attending press conferences.
Competencies • Excellent command of written and spoken English • Degree in journalism, communications, or related discipline • Good attitude, willingness to adjust to new systems
• Good team player, but is also able to work independently within the parameters of any given assignment
• A sense of speed and accuracy in writing and filing real-time stories to the news desk to meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with national issues and an understanding of relevant world affairs
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, social media and search engines
