Strictly follow all Health, Safety, Security and Environment policies. Report all unsafe act and safety hazard to immediate superior. Follow ERP procedures in case of emergencies and security drills. Observe the HSES golden rules: Comply, Intervene and Respect.
Conducts new hire orientation and training. Assign Forecourt Crew Trainer to assist new hire training. Monitors and evaluates the progress of the new recruit and reports trainees progress to immediate superior. Recommends termination of unqualified or unsatisfactory trainees.
Trains, coach, leads and motivates the staff to ensure delivery of the customer commitment, selling and delivering the offer, execution of standards, site presentation, achieving sales and cost targets.
Conducts station marketing, promotional activities and suggestive selling. Implements Shell promotions and loyalty programs. Ensure proper and timely display or removal of promotions collaterals.
Monitors competitor activities, prices and promotions and reports to immediate superior for remedial action.
Ensure 100% compliance of all Shell Standards Audits required.
Knows, understands and keeps up to date on the station’s goals, objective, standard operating procedures, policies, products, services and promotions. Attends meetings, trainings and seminars for continuous learning and self-improvement.
Prepares and assigns staff work schedule based on station transaction count and corresponding manning complement required.
Knows, understands and keeps up to date on the basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing and maintenance functions of the station. Perform basic station maintenance to ensure that station tools, equipment and facilities are in good working condition. Notify management of replacement needs or necessary repairs requiring third party contractor. Call accredited Shell contractor for Shell owned and maintained equipment.
Ensure that station staff is trained on the proper use and handling of station tools and equipment and that station supplies/materials are available at all times. Conduct inventory of station tools and equipment and report any loss to immediate superior.
Conducts regular staff meetings and disseminate information.
Qualifications/Requirements
A graduate of any business related course
Knowledgeable in customer service and motivational skills
Can coach, monitor and train staff
With good oral and written communication skills
Possess strong leadership and organizational skills
Willing to work on Sundays and Holidays
Computer Literate
Documentation requirements for effective handling and disposition of disciplinary cases.
Ability to identify problems, determine possible solutions, and actively work to resolve the issues using various problem solving and decision making tools and techniques
