A self-taught artist, Jayson Drona was fascinated by arts since he was young. During his college days, he joined the Arts club in their school and was exposed to making murals, making crafts, charcoal portraits, and painting.

He is a mechanical engineer by profession but he is now a full-time artist, pursuing what he really loves doing. As of now, he is practicing using oil paint because he was inspired by the old masters on how they captured a beautiful scene and put it into a painting to share the experience of being there.

His subjects in painting are more on landscapes, seascapes, and portraits.

And his style in painting is more on a realistic and detailed approach inspired by the works of Tischler, Mucillo, Davidenko and other well-known artist.
